How often is The Ruby Revue held?

This event is held monthly in Sydney & Melbourne. Always check the websites for upcoming dates. The Ruby Revue generally runs from February - November each year. If you would like to have your own Ruby Revue though we can put one on especially for your venue or occassion.

Can I dress up for the event?

Absolutely! As with all Jac Bowie events, we love any excuse to dress up, and encourage our audiences to dress to impress. This could be vintage, swing, retro, rockabilly, burlesque – it all suits! And if you don’t feel like “dressing up” that’s fine too. We do request you dress at least cocktail and smart casual for the guys.

Why does Dinner & Show have a separate opening time to Show Only tickets?

We stagger our ticket entry so we may have all Dinner guests seated prior to the Show Only general admission. It makes life easier for everyone involved and that way no one is waiting. If you are seeking tickets on the door, they are available from 6:45pm after all pre-paid guests have entered the room. We want to make sure we don’t overbook the room – after all, The Ruby Revue is all about watching the show comfortably!

What time is Dinner served?

Dinner in both venues starts going out to tables just prior to the show.

Is there seating for the Show Only Tickets?

There is LIMITED seating available for Show Only tickets. The ticket is generally a standing only setup but if you get there 30 mins prior to the show at least 50% of guests have the opportunity for some seating.

Can we take photos at the event?

Photography at The Ruby Revue show is strictly limited to our official photographer and any approved press. We like to protect our Artists image and material – so therefore only release photos on the website and facebook that the Artists have approved. If you feel you REALLY need to photograph the event, please email Creative Director Jac Bowie at jac@jacbowie.com for approval.

We do offer complimentary media passes for Press who would like to do an editorial or review on the event. Please also contact Jac Bowie regarding this.

You are of course welcome to take pictures of your friends and yourself, and any of our staff!

Are under 18’s able to attend this event?

Unfortunately no, this is a licensed event and suitable for people over the age of 18 only.

What else can we expect at The Ruby Revue?

If you are the birthday boy, or the Hen, or generally standing out, beware, our cigarette girls may request your on-stage presence!

Can we exchange or get a refund on our tickets?

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on our tickets, as with most event ticketing agents and venues. It is up to our discretion as to issuing exchange of dates.
