So 2 years into my career, I spent my honeymoon in New York, and  whilst tormenting my husband with nightly burlesque shows (sometimes 3 times a night), I came across a few that were intimate and involved Dinner & Show. There is nothing better than an old fashioned variety show, or near naked women – with food.

I came home inspired, and created a little show at The Supper Club, Oxford Street, called The Ruby Revue. We outgrew the venue in 3 shows.

The Ruby Revue is now a Sydney institution. One of the first regular monthly burlesque revues to kick off during the early resurgence of burlesque in Australia, and the one all major international touring Artists choose to sew their Sydney seeds. Just ask world number 1 Dirty Martini, or UK star Chrys Columbine. They WANT to do this show.

For $59 Dinner & Show and $27 Show Only, it’s a fabulous and affordable night out, that suits audiences of all ages / walks of life. There’s silly audience participations, great food, good music and an ever changing roster of the best cabaret artists in the country.

The show has featured in Time Out Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, and loads of other media, each giving glowing reviews of the range, quality and generally praising the event as the top event of it’s genre, with Time Out naming the event as Sydney’s Number 1 Burlesque show in 2009.

The Ruby Revue is also a very popular choice for private groups including birthdays, hen’s parties – and we can accomodate for groups of up to 50 in the event or even put on your own Private Ruby Revue.
